Spencer and Sierra's 1 Year Wedding Anniversary

I can't believe it has already been a year since these two tied the knot! Time seems to move so fast these days. When they came to the coast for an anniversary trip, we took some commemorative pictures by the beach. Tons of fun!

I took these photos while one of my best friends came to town back in April, to get acquainted with my new camera in preparation for the wedding I shot in May. I just never posted these because life got busy. It's still busy, but I am procrastinating ;] These are 2 of my closest friends alive and even though I was a little awkward with making them pose, I got some good practicing in on our hike of San Simeon Point.

Shenanigans at Hearst Castle

Every year Hearst Castle (California State Parks) does a VIP swim in the Neptune Pool for its employees and partners as well as its volunteers. Sometimes these people are allowed to bring guests (determined by hours and position, etc.). Last year, my mom and myself enjoyed the 67 degree water for a couple minutes and explored the immediate area the rest of the hour and a half we were there. This year, I was allowed to take three guests! We had a blast swimming in the 72ish degree water for a while and taking some fun and creative pictures.
